I'm sorry to have to report that Lydia has gone over the Rainbow Bridge.  She ran into the street and was hit by a passerby who did not even bother to stop.  I am so very sad.  Lydia was so important to me and I loved her so much!  Our lives will be forever intwined and my heart will never be the same.  I miss everything about here especially here smile and her wagging tail and the way she talked to me.  I am very empty right now, but I gave her the best life she ever had, but it seems as though she has given me the best life I ever had.

Rest in peace my friend for now you are really free.
