Millie
Born: 12/20/2000
Bridge: 12/1/2008
Millie was in a puppy mill for the first 5 years of her life. I adopted her on December 20th, 2005. I was apprehensive, at first, because I hadn't owned a dog for many years. Millie was heartworm positive so, the next three months were a little rough. Once Millie recovered, she became the best little dog anyone could want. She was as smart as they come. We started going to puppy kindergarten and then to Tricks Classes where, she became the star pupil. Millie would do anything to please me. At home, she ruled the roost. Millie definitely did not want another dog in the house, she wanted all my attention. Millie had her own steps up to my bed and, while I was at work, she stayed in bed and watched TV until I returned. Millie had her special doggy door and used it whenever she needed. Millie also loved to go "bye bye" and, when possible, went everywhere with me in the car.
Millie, you were the light of my life. I will miss you with all my heart but, I know you are in a better place and no longer hurting. Know that I love you,
Mommy
